Carpet requirements for hall, stairs and landings
are hard wearing and practical as these areas receive
the most wear and tear. We regularly receive requests
to fit coir matting into the hallway by the front door
to prevent the heaviest wear being directly on the
carpet. We also suggest making a runner or mat from
the off cuts of carpet as this blends in with the flooring,
being the same colour.
The choice of carpet in these areas is very important
as this is the first impression everyone coming into
your home gets, and as they say, you don’t get
a second chance at making a first impression!
