The carpet for a living room needs to be hard wearing
and practical. We usually recommend an 80/20% wool/man-made
mixture for comfort with a 45oz. minimum weight for
durability. However many man-made carpets now have
a great feel and are very hard wearing.
When choosing the colour it is useful to bear in mind
that the lighter the colour the bigger the room will
appear, although this needs to be considered alongside
the practicality of the lighter the colour the harder
it is to keep clean!
The most important thing is to ensure the colour chosen
tones with the other colours in your room to give it
that “wow” factor!
